As you might have guessed, we're pretty keen on lighthouses. As we scour the web and find interesting sites, we'll post them here.
• Selkirk Lighthouse Home Page. An extensive site with info about many lighthouses and rescue stations. You know this site must be cool because they link to us!
• Bill's Lighthouse Getaway. This site has a particularly nice section about 'lights' on the Great Lakes (including our little lighthouse, which is on Lake Superior).
• Keepers of the Light - Tales From Two Lighthouse Lovers. This site specializes in lighthouses in the northwestern United States and part of Canada.
• Whitehorse Custom Crafts Lighthouse page. Here's a site where they can actually make a replica lighthouse for you! They do custom jobs so you can get a replica of any lighthouse you want.

We like anarchy... Hey, at least we're not fascists. The following sites are free-spirits amongst the web crawlers, and so we list them here under the banner of anarchy. Sorry, guys.

By the way, there used to be an interesting site at www.illuminati.org and now it doesn't seem to respond. Should we be concerned?

Actually, during a recent maintenance of this section, a lot of these 'anarchist' sites don't seem to be around any more. Should we be surprised?

• What is this? (Sites that we just can't explain.)
  • disinformation - The sub-culture search engine.
  • Cynsa Beans. I am not sure what this is. A lot of underground Web stuff happening in San Francisco and here is some of it.
  • DaveNet. Rantings of some guy. Who knows? (It's kinda' like anarchy. Well, it's about computers anyway.)
  • NWHQ. Hypertext literature and art.
• The Web and our First Ammendment. (Sites that are naughty.)
  Free speech is the basis of any democracy. Always protect the principle. Lose it anywhere, you may lose it everywhere...
  • Space Moose Home Page. We think the creator of this comic asked himself, "What can I get away with?"
  • Nerve: Literate Smut. This is an artistic site. (However, they have a pointer to SmutLand too.)
  • Playboy. This magazine has become such an institution I'm not sure it still qualifies as naughty.
  • The SaferSex Page: Before visiting any of the above sites... you need protection, my friend.
• Mischievous Miscellany. (Or Illicit Illiteration.)
  • Visit The Whitehouse. Stay on top of the situation! (Don't tell them you registered as an independent!)
  • Nonproliferation and International Security Division Home Page. Yup, that's what it is. Makes for interesting reading.

• Going out in New York City? Where to go, what to do... Keep track of your favorite sites in NYC.
• Bored? Want to play peeping Tom without getting arrested? Visit EarthCam for a searchable index of web cameras.
• Not to mention Steve Mann. He's the guy with the 'wearcam' - a wireless web camera that he wears.
